HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

In the event you need to make a claim under your policy, please:

Take every reasonable action to secure your property and prevent further loss.

In cases of serious motor accidents involving a third party, suspected arson or theft, please report the incident to your local police station and obtain a crime number.

Car & Van Windscreen Claims. Insurance companies have dedicated windscreen repairers to repair or replace your damaged windscreen. The relevant repairers can be contacted as follows:

Is your insurer NIG? If so, call Auto Windscreens on 0800 36 36 36

Is your insurerAviva Norwich Union? If so, please call RAC Windscreens on 0800 919 700

You will be required to pay the policy excess (please refer to your schedule or contact us for clarification of the amount) and VAT if applicable but the remainder of the invoice can be claimed for under your policy.

For Tractor windscreens: Please arrange for your local specialist to repair or replace the glass and forward the invoice to us. You will be required to pay the policy excess (please refer to your schedule or contact us for clarification of the amount) and VAT if applicable but the remainder of the invoice can be claimed for under your policy.
